The Boot That Carried Two Generations Through Two World Wars — Handcrafted in Genuine Leather

No piece of military equipment in the First and Second World Wars was more critical to the fighting man than his boots. Generals planned campaigns. Quartermasters supplied ammunition. But it was the boot — specifically, the leather boot issued to infantrymen across every theatre of both wars — that determined whether those plans could be executed at all. The WWI pattern boot was produced using original factory patterns from surviving pairs and knives found in the archives, fitted to the correct square toe last — robust construction built strong enough for the environment it was designed for.  The WWII ammunition boot — black leather was built using methods passed down the generations.  Noirtide's Infantry World War Boots reproduce both patterns in 100% genuine leather — made to order in your exact size, for every reenactor, living history enthusiast, military collector, and heritage boot wearer who understands that authentic footwear begins with authentic materials.

Fully Bespoke — Any Size, Any Width

Every pair of Noirtide Infantry World War Boots is made to your exact measurements. Foot length, width, and instep all confirmed before production begins. Half sizes, wide, narrow, and non-standard fittings all accommodated at no extra charge. After ordering, Noirtide contacts you directly to confirm all measurements before a single piece of leather is cut.

For Reenactors, Living History & Military Heritage Enthusiasts

These boots are built for WWI and WWII British Army reenactment, Allied infantry living history impressions, Great War and WWII military history events, museum display and interpretation, military collector builds, Tommy and GI reenactment groups, battlefield tour attendance, 37 Pattern and 40 Pattern Battledress builds, and any heritage or everyday wear context where a genuinely handcrafted leather military ankle boot is the correct choice.
